The Little Lighthouse Foundation’s Adopt-A-Meal Program for Ronald McDonald House Charities
The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is a “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children receiving treatment at Jackson Memorial Medical Center and nearby pediatric hospitals. The families who stay at RMH often experience high levels of stress because of their child’s illness and often do not have the time, energy, or money to prepare a nourishing meal.
The Little Lighthouse Foundation (LLF) has been working with Ronald McDonald House Charity for South Florida since 2009. LLF partners with various local restaurants and caterers in the Miami area. Our restaurants partners prepare a delectable meal for the families at RMHC and LLF volunteers coordinates all aspects of the food pick up, delivery, distribution and clean up. As well as socialize and bond with the families of RMHC.
The following Restaurants are our generous supporters of the program.
How can YOUR restaurant participate?
To participate dinner for 30 people should be prepared “family style” and can be picked up by our volunteers or delivered by the restaurant. Your generosity will be seen on the faces of the children and their families.
What are the benefits as a donor?
Each restaurant that donates receives tax savings benefits from LLF. As a donor, you will have recognition on this Adopt-A- Meal web page with a direct link to your site.
